I love the look into Sam's mind. I wish we'd gotten more of this canon. How hopeless he feels, and the attempt to die in order to protect Dean.
"Then you'll get a Wednesday." Broke me with that line. Canon we get Dean feeling that way and it really wasn't until Sacrifice we saw that kind of devotion from Sam. (not saying he didn't, just that it was more implied then spelled out)

Thanks! I admit, I wish we'd gotten more of this, too. We know Sam's very devoted to his brother by the time they go through all the crap they do with things like Sam doing the Trials and how he remembered Hell for the sake of not leaving his brother alone in a time of crisis (among other things in the series), but I think they should show it a lot more often, too.

Outstanding! This was never addressed enough on the show - the absolute torture and anguish Sam suffered through Dean's endless dying. The despair in this is palpable. Just wonderful.

Thanks! I think Dean tends to get more of the emotional reaction or internal thought process shown way more, which I love because I'm a Sam and Dean girl equally, but what I wouldn't give for some more in-depth study on Sam's change in Season 3!

Your comment's muy appreciated. :)
