Aloha! wah, I missed your amazing art. If I might ask, what is it about Danish flags? My sister's mother uses them for everything (or at least the colours)- xmas, birthdays, little sister's first day at kindergarten. She says it isn't about patriotism, but just habit.

Either way, I'm liking the colour pencils. They give art a whole other dimension. :D

Oh, hi! :) The flags in the drawing were up because of the special date, but it's true that Danes habitually use flags for decorations on birthdays and other anniversaries. It's not patriotism per se, but as far as I know the tradition did spring from wartime and occupation by foreign powers.
