A couple of page spreads from my little sketchbook - it's only 9x14 centimetres.

First one is titled Skrigepupper (Screaming Cocoons) and done in black and sanguine ink. I like the mix of strong stylized black and sensitive observational red ink drawings in this.

I love these, Ea! Both have a slightly ominous surreal quality to them. You'd be a wonderful illustrator. I'd love to know the story behind Screaming Cocoons.

Ohh, the screaming cocoons are bizzarely sweet, and I love the v strong gaze of the little girl and the cat in the second. Actually I adore everything about the cat. It looks so intelligent, as if it's voicing its opinions to the little girl. And that paw/nails...awww.
