I think the little hedgehog has found a home in the stack of old tiles and roofing sections out back. Today I caught him nosing around the lawn, snuffling and poking about the grass and happily munching on whatever it was he found in there - probably slugs, worms and caterpillars or the like... Aww, how lovely - Mr Prickles is back again! I love hedgehogs; I once saved a huge one from the road, he rolled himself into a ball and I hardly managed to carry him because he was so prickly. He was huffing and puffing quite indignantly :-)

i ♥ that little guy. i'm sure it's wrong, but i just want to feed him tidbits and domesticate him so he'll want to hang out.

have you given him a name, since it looks like he might stick around? when i lived in israel, there was this little turtle that used to sometimes come into the house for lettuce and grapes. i named him "tortilla."
