"John's shoe" struck me as I walked by the breakfast table this morning, but I haven't listened to the track yet.

John shouldn't be hitting you with anything larger than his thumb. That's the rule, right? Shoes are right out.

Not John; his shoe. Damn thing just snuck right in front of my poor defenseless toes and smacked 'em. They have now been sent to the shoe pile to learn their lesson.

I'd call this "Those Aren't Bells".

I felt like I was waiting for something to happen that never occurred. But you could keep it that way and call it Beckett's Folly or Godot's Melody or something else clever. I did really like it though.

the name 'spinning plates' comes to mind, though i couldn't tell you why.
