[He's been chased by them. He's glad to be alive in Violet City]

They're big bees.

[Big bees? They can't be worse than Pendulums... oh god, Pendulums...]

I'm not worried. I've handled worse than some big stingy bugs.

A Beedrill doesn't sound all that friendly, but then again, all wild Pokemon seem to have a nasty temperament.

What do you plan to do with all that bleach?

Yeah, gotta love the crazy names these things have, huh?

It's... uh, it's a surprise. But you're a smart kid, you'll probably get it. It involves chemistry. And awesome.

[And a slightly cunning capacity for destruction on Heather's part.]

They're very um..."creative", I guess.

I imagine you plan on taking care of the swarm yourself...?

foolishwren June 22 2010, 05:51:54 UTC
Well, not the entire swarm... Just enough that they know not to bother me. I don't think these things can die... [She's watched wild Pokemon get toasted by fire, half-drowned, and more or less totally clobbered without suffering any permanent damage, so...] ... So I figure it'd just be enough of a warning that they' know to leave me alone.

...

They had buckets, at least. Maaaybe detergent, but no one brought any to the counter and I never stocked it, so I'm not sure.

[Enter the SCIENTIST~~~]

...you know you can't mix bleach and detergent, right?

Well, not safely, no, but... it makes damn good insecticide.

. . .

Do you have any concept of how dangerous that is?

A beedrill sounds like a bee to me, Ma'm.

[He doesn't get why they make semi-elaborate names for the wildlife here.]

foolishwren June 22 2010, 05:54:48 UTC
Yeah... figured as much.

I'm not scared of bees, though. Not even big ones.

Me neither. I thought most of the people here were braver than that.

But I guess not.
