You didn't get 3 and 16, but those are very good guesses! I can tell you that you're in the wrong fandoms. Another hint is that none of the pairings listed are from books.

I think I'm just being really obscure with some of my character descriptions. I tried tweaking one or two, but some of the character traits are ones that have become memes of their own in their respective fandoms, like Sheppard and Mckay's character traits, which maybe we haven't specifically caught while watching the show, but the SGA fandom universally acknowledges these things in their works.

So I suppose some of the character traits aren't ones some people would pick up right away on outside of the fandom.

Haha, well in class (I read Gatsby for AP) we referred to Gatsby's pink suit as the swag suit, so that really stuck out in my mind. And for some reason, him calling Nick "Old sport" was utterly hilarious.
