WTF, CLAMP

Unacceptable. I am not treating this end chapter of xxxHolic as canon till you do better.

I wasn't even like "whoo! Douwata!" because of course I knew they weren't going to do that. I'm not really "whoo!" anybody for this series, I just wanted a GOOD solid piece of closure, but this wasn't even a good piece of storytelling. It was ( Read more... )

I'm thinking of doing that Nertz to You, Clamp ficathon (ficfest? Ficathon? What's the difference?) that fanta was talking about on the douwata comm.
Do you have any suggestions/input about something like that?
I've never run a fest before, but I've been planning out the structure. I guess one bit will be prompt-posting, and the next bit will be prompt claiming. And somehow I'll be using tags to sort the prompts more easily. I'm guessing by character? I'm not sure.

I suppose I could talk to the douwata admin, see if she has any advice about it. I'm also not sure how much work I would have to do after the initial setup. I would have to post an invite to all the holic comms, wouldn't I? I don't have a HUGE amount of time on my hands, but I think it would go smoothly if I set it up correctly.

What do you think?
