Does it matter who or how we were created? We're here now.
Even without believing in fate, I don't think there's any such thing as a mistake. A mistake is only a wasted opportuniy to learn. Pain is change, and if used correctly, change is progress. It sucks, and it's confusing and hurtful, but that's why we as human beings need each other. Only through connections to others can we be guided to where we should be. We all have different ways or degrees to which we feel we must go, but we do need each other.
I don't think you can attach morality to emotions. What a person feels is purely themselves, and to censure so harshly at such a deep level can only result in self-loathing. The only question is what to do with those emotions.
