Boozy Icebox Cake

Icebox Cake is so easy, fast, and delicious. It's probably the dessert with the biggest bang for your buck. This version is made with oreo cookies and a bunch of whipped cream -- and Amaretto for a zing! The cream softens the oreos as they chill overnight into a velvety, cake-like dessert.

I"m tempted to make this with the Trader Joes Jo-Jo's (basically OREOS with broken up candy canes in cream) and a little something in the whipped cream. Not sure what, peppermint schapp's would be overkill on the mint flavor and cookies are good on their own.

Ooh, that sounds like a great flavor idea! Mmm. Maybe you could make a little schnapps cream and a little regular and alternate layers? You could even make the schnapps cream a pale minty green!
