Unfortunately I was quite short on time while decorating, so nothing's as smooth or polished as I'd like. Hopefully it still tastes great, though!

I know what you mean, though - I oooh and ahhh over fondant cakes (because they really can look spectacular), but nothing will ever beat regular old fashioned cake for me!
