I don't know when. As I heard it told in the davis_square community, they got priced out, probably by some dumb mall chain. I'm hoping they'll move rather than close outright, hopefully somewhere in our area.

They're already closed, alas. Lesley University, damn their mercenary souls, refused to continue Kotobukiya's lease because they want the space for their university bookstore (why yes, I am still upset).

Some former employees of Kotobukiya are moving / opening another store in Medford. Rumor has it they'll be open soon.
