I've called it rock candy because that's what it was called at the store, even though rock candy is usually the crystallised stuff. Don't cry over the garlic--make your own! It adds such a nice flavor to dishes. I was pleased with how the pastries turned out--thank you for all the compliments.

It's been years since I've had homemade waffles, and now that I saw your post, I've suddenly remembered I love them.

I need a waffle iron now.

They're great! Just remember to remove the instructions from between the waffle iron parts before you plug it in. :) (A friend recently forgot this step and had nasty burned paper on the waffle iron. Whoops! Ha.)
