Meatballs!

Doomed to a boring dinner of jarred sauce ::winces:: and pasta I decided to contribute something created with a little more love than the busy people at Ragu provide. My mother makes the best meatballs I have ever had, but I don't think mine shape up to shabby.

That's pretty much what my mom and I do, though we generally have an equal amount of breadcrumbs and cheese. And because I am a VeryBadGirl(tm), I fry my meatballs before dropping them in the sauce.

Oh, and I forgot to say, we add an egg or two.

i asked my mom about the egg and she was really perturbed by the thought, although i am not opposed to it...when i make meatloaf (aka giant meatball) i use a TON of cheese. I am in love with cheese.

That's pretty close to mine too, though I also use an egg.

I brown mine in a little olive oil instead of baking too, and then throw them in with the sauce to finish cooking.

God, I haven't made meatballs in forever. I know what I'm doing this weekend!
