It's blueberry season here in the forests of Bohemia. The wild berries here are not the big blue dusty-looking American berries - although the shops sell those as "Canadian blueberries", at obscene prices. American blueberries taste sour and pretty much nothing... niw talk about Quebec blueberries and now we're talking about tiny mouthfulls of joy sweetness and juices.

My only experience with "Sour Cream Blueberry Pie" is a cheesecake-like custardy filling topped with blueberry compote.
I may have to make this for my husband who has fallen in love with (tasteless, American?) blueberries.
