What did you glaze it with?

I got the glaze recipe from here.

However, I should mention that a) I used regular horseradish, not cream style. and b)I had boiled the brisket for 3 hours first in a mixture of apple juice, beef broth, whole peppercorns, red onion, carrot, chopped garlic, parsley and a little salt.

When I put the meat and veggies/apples into the oven, I turned up the heat on the remaining liquid in the pot to a high boil and let it cook down for 20 minutes to coat the meat with on the plate.

Really, this one is a keeper. It was *very* good.

Yum. And I still have a pre-corned brisket waiting in the fridge.

This was honestly the best one I've ever tasted, and I like brisket pretty much no matter what also.

It took 3.5 hours but really is worth it.

Any good brisket should cook for awhile. My mom puts hers on overnight.
