I was just given a buttload of Deer Hamburger. I love the stuff, but what can I do with it other than the normal hamburgery type stuff?

Any ideas.?

I'd make (assuming it's not been frozen) a big batch of tomatoey base sauce, then freeze it in big ziplocs for speedy lasagne/spaghetti/whatever

venison chilli is the best thing ever, drop a little dark chocolate in at the end of cooking

oh, you could also try meat on a stick! mix some meat with chilli, chopped garlic, spring onions and any other spice you fancy, shape into sausage shapes round skewers, grill.

I'm thinking something middle eastern in flair--seasoned keftas with rice or couscous...something on those lines

I once had an amazing venison ragout at an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. Alas, I can't at all remember what was in it besides ground venison. I do remember it was not tomato based. Try googling, or, um, epicuriousing that, maybe?
