If you're serving this at a party, please please please do not use a latex glove as a hand mold - find a vinyl one instead. If you have to use latex, make sure you tell everyone there that you did so.

I've got a severe latex allergy. A study published this year showed that even eating foods that previously come in contact with latex can cause an allergic reaction.

yeah, you're absolutely right. i actually used a non-latex glove, but when typing up the recipe i slipped and typed "latex glove", because that's the easiest, most recognized name for those kinds of gloves.

omg, the lychees make excellent eyes. they really look real (cow eye dissection, 8th grade)--ew...and lychees are friggin delicious.
