you know, i hadn't considered this. i'm not a canner so i'm not sure... maybe i can find someone to help me learn. i did once help a friend make and can pumpkin butter, though.
well my boy once made me a pluot smoothie, with just pluots, and they're like plums i suppose - it tasted ok, i don't think they were particularly ripe enough. i think a plum smoothie by itself would be just fine, although i don't see why you couldn't throw peaches or nectarines or strawberries or or or in there with it. :) i've just started to try smoothies out so i'm kind of just throwing things together to see if they taste good!

How about making fruit leather with them?
I also found this site..never tried any of them but plum salsa sounds kind of interesting........
