what does a peer mentor do?

Hmm a peer mentor in our school is someone who is a senior who helps out the youngest students in school who teachers picked that may be struggling to fit in or something, and our job is to help them boost up their confidence and be a 'big sister' who they can turn to :) haha. Basically, you guys have a meeting two times a week to catch up and do some activities xD pretty fun.
