Now I understand you love that ship, whatever. I love plenty of ships that aren't canon, in fact, gotta say its pretty much my staple, the shipping of non-canon ships that are so far out of canon most people don't even contemplate

Like, I think O Children could make a good Harry/Hermione vid if that vid was about the sweet parts of their childhood AND THEN HERMIONE IS WITH RON, WOE, but a straight-up romantic vid? Not so much.

That said, my shipper antennae were quivering at the dancing scene. Yes, it was about comfort, yes, it could be read as platonic... but I read it as platonic plus.

Given me being me, it was just platonic. Because my mind could replace it with Ron just as easily. As soon as I can do that with a scene, it looses all shipper value, or makes me ship OT3.
