'80s Music Video Quiz
Over the weekend this struck me as an amusing thing to do -- and then I mentioned it to bushi7 and drives_a_mini and they thought it sounded fun, too, so....
Below are screencaps from 15 music videos that were released in the 1980s. I chose videos that I thought could be reasonably identified from just one or a small number of screencaps -- even screencaps that do not necessarily include the musical artist! -- either because the video has a distinctive visual style or memorable scenes, or because it was played so much that it would have been burned into the brains of anyone who obsessively watched music videos in the 80s.
(And lest those of you who grew up without cable fear that you may be at a major disadvantage... I didn't have cable, either. All of these showed up frequently on "Friday Night Videos" or similar shows.)
To start, I'll post one screencap from each video. In a day or so, I'll post a second image, followed by a third. Comments will be screened so that everyone gets a shot at guessing. In the end I'll reveal the videos as well as who guessed after one, two, or three images.
