Week 3: House Building

The third week (from July 23-27) was spent helping to build houses at another GK Village at Ortigas Extension. This one was a lot harder to find than the last one.

So, contrary to what some people think, I actually did some real work. I could've had it easier staying in the pre-school. Heck, it probably wouldn't be too difficult fabricating 80 ( Read more... )

wow. a Cabrera doing manual labor. that "requirement" must be really compelling. :-)

i did a couple weeks construction work too in the past. the tired-ness at the end of the day is quite fulfilling though, since you get to see the (literally) concrete results of your labor...

Working on... some metal thing. I have no idea where this goes, actually. HAHA.

they shall be the mold for the concrete/cement pillars put in the corners of the house you are constructing. From this remark of yours, either you weren't there when they put the house together or you weren't paying attention. :P
