Hornblower's Birthday Bash
You are all cordially invited to Admiral of the Fleet Sir Horatio Hornblower's three hundred and something-th birthday

DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS
DRESS CODE: Lord Hornblower had originally decreed that all attendees wear whatever they like, or nothing at all, depending on how many drinks they've had the night before. However, after being prompted by Mr Bush that "It's Sunday, sir" he amended his requirements. All must be wearing their best clothes or risk being send ashore.
WHAT TO BRING: Though it may appear to not be the case presented in his biographies, Lord Hornblower actually loves receiving presents, compliments and well-wishes. So anything is welcome. Short accounts of his life (Sir Horatio adores "fanfiction"), photos, artwork (icons, banners &c), random observations, historical accounts... BUT remember it has to be mainly about LORD HORNBLOWER. If his lordship catches you posting something else, it's the yard for you!
REQUESTS: following_sea is willing to collate requests and ideas of presents for Lord Hornblower. Can't write to save your life? Be sneaky and get someone else to write it for you. Same goes for artwork &c
