Thank you for posting this - and I love the caricature especially - I have seen it of course but not looked at it its detail quite so closely before.
Alas for metrical psalms and the like and the violence they do to poetry

Moab is my washpot was admittedly always one of my favourite lines to chant in evensong - though not for any reasons of poetry

I only know it from Stephen Fry.

I love the cartoons they made then, especially the talk bubbles. It is endlessly fascinating to me to see the way they saw themselves. And you get a real pungent look at the language in cartoons.

I like the guy who wants to throw shells.
