anteros_lmc informs me she has never seen Amazing Grace. It comes with the esmerelda_t seal of cinematic approval, which is basically better than an Oscar, so I do recommend that if you haven't seen it you do! In the meantime though I thought one or two of you might enjoy this fanvid which I believe has been kicking about for several years.

Ye gads! It's Mumford and Sons. Actually I confess I really like that album, though I fear I will burn in hell for admitting that :}

*hangs head in shame* All right, I admit it! I am crap at watching films, even ones featuring Ioan Gruffudd in breeches. I'm not sure why though, as Ioan Gruffudd in (or indeed out of ) breeches is one of my favourite things :P

Very nice vid. I thoroughly approve of the combination of 3am, rum and fanvids. Good times!

Hey! I quite like Mumford and Sons! Besides lets face it, if either of us is going to hell, it'll be for the slash. :P

My mum is here this weekend, I am wondering how drunk she needs to be to agree to watch Merlin fanvids....

Oh, I love this film very much though I never be a fan of Ioan. Thanks for this posting.

The release of this film has delayed in my country so I saw this at the end of Feb, 2011. It was so good that I was thinking of going to see it again with my friend when the terrible Tohoku earthquake and tsunami happened on 11 March 2011, every plans for seeing film, travel, shopping etc collapsed of course and I haven't seen it again. But I've often rememberd this story on my worrying days after the disaster because this is a kind of film which encourage people to do the right thing, to believe the truth and justice. And Ioan was so good in his role of Wilberforce.

Exactly. I always cry at the end but it is a happy crying not a sad crying.
