Just food for thought

Been re-watching Retribution (for inspiration purposes only, of course) and something occurred to me. Bush refuses to support Horatio and Archie's idea to attack the fort overland at first, but then he changes his mind and suggests that they go ahead with it. We have no idea what made him change his mind. Does anyone have any suggestions?

character: william bush, episode: retribution, discussion: episode

Because he works out for himself how screwed they'll be in Kingston if they DON'T have a success at that, since he's already blown his "figure out how to relieve Sawyer QUIETLY" mission from the Admiralty. Spy!Bush, LKU headcanon applied!

Heheh. Pretty much the same as what I was thinking. Bush: *thinks it over* We're screwed if we don't have anything to show for this mess except a captain who might've been pushed and one attempt on the Spanish fort. They have the right idea for it. Now where are those two lovebirds?

Yep, I'd also presumed that it just took Bush a little longer to come to the same conclusion as Horatio and Archie!

It's sort of a pity that it had. Things might not have gone to pot if he had agreed with them from the first. Or at least not as badly.

Or because he does not want to see his new friends die before he has a chance to go swimming with them!
