Quotes quiz time!
And since you are all such clever clogs and were so quick off the mark last time, here's an extra challenge for you this week. All the quotes below are Hornblower quotes but some of them are lifted from or inspired by other texts. So not only do you have to identify the Hornblower character speaking and the book or movie the quote is from, you also have to identify the original source of the quote. And I have no doubt you'll manage to identify them all before the end of the week!
Reminder of Rules:
a) Guess the character that said the quote, and the book/movie that it was said in.
b) Try to limit your guess to one at first, so that many people can have a go at it. But after a day, if there's still unguessed quotes, then feel free to pitch in. If you do answer more than one, I will screen your reply.
c) If there's two correct guesses for the same quote, it will go to the first person who commented.
