Fic Challenge - Letter from Hell Reply - Lady Kennedy
Firstly thanks to sarah_lynn_b for kicking this off, haven't had chance to say hello yet so, erm, hello!

Jack Simpson.
He would not tell me your name but it was not difficult to find it out. I have found that very few things in this life are too difficult if one is prepared to be, shall we say, resourceful. Obviously he has not told me exactly what occurred on Justinian. It is not a tale I suppose many young men find suitable for their mother’s ears but what he did not say was what screamed out the loudest to me.
The world is full of men like you. I hope you know that. There is nothing special in cruelty. In my youth I helped other girls at the theatre clean off their own blood and once held a knife to the throat of a man who would have presumed to take liberties if I had been the hesitating sort.
I am not though.
I have had time to consider the matter and I think that in the end I would not have killed you if I’d had the chance.
You would come to wish I had though.
If my own mother was right I will one day see you down there. Watch your back, Jack, for mother always did say I could charm the Devil himself into doing whatever I wanted.
