Meet Archie Unwrapped, who is heading this year's advertising campaign for Oxfam Unwrapped's excellent charity gift range.
And because we all appreciate Archie Unwrapped (both varieties) nodbear has suggested it might be fun to have a little holiday season competition here at following_sea.
~ The Prize ~
An Oxfam Unwrapped gift of the winner's choice up to the value of £25 with best wishes from nodbear, anteros_lmc and Archie (the goat, possibly even the lieutenant ;) and we'll even throw in a little sweet treat!
~ The Rules ~
We want photographs, stories, reports, etc of odd or unusual instances of any of the Hornblower character's names. Do you have a three legged cat called Mr Bush? Have you enjoyed a knickerbocker glory at Archie's Shake Bar? Are you a fan of "anarchistic and not so puritan" band M/S Hornblower? Ludicrous sightings, inappropriate mis-namings, we want them all! Nodbear has already discovered Archie's Seabreeze Bar in Florida - "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem!" But I'm sure you can come up with infinitely sillier examples. Though I'm not sure what Horatio and Mr Bush would make of that logo...
