Syracuse, New YorkOddly, Stark found herself missing John. They had spent one day together, and it had been a very good day. She'd been sad to wake up alone; already she had gotten used to him even if he was twice her age. She was sad for awhile, not quite in the mood to get up

"Coming." She heard him call out and a few minutes later answering the door and just pulling a shirt over his head she was face to face with the John she had met a year ago. His eyes looked her over, he couldn't help it. "Stark?"

"One and the same." She smiled nervously; the dress was new and she wasn't sure if he'd like it, and she really didn't know what to say. Your future self 20 years from now gave me your number? Instead she blushed. "I, ah, a friend of mine gave me your number and said you were trying to reach me."

He leaned in the doorway and smiled then. "I was thinking of calling you, but it's been so long. I didn't think you'd remember me." He was looking himself over making sure he looked alright which even dressed down he usually did. "You want to come in?"

"I'd like that, thanks," she admitted with a small smile. "I, um, I didn't really plan...I've been on the go all morning...got up, caught the first flight to New York, and I've just been trying to track you down since."

She stepped into the apartment, tilting her head a little to check out his ass as he closed the door behind her. [Heh. Someone is foxy,] she thought to herself with a smile before she straightened. "So, um, how have you been?"
