He opened his door just finishing pulling his shirt on and looked at her chuckling and gave her a smile letting her in. "Come in. Beer, something stronger?"
"Is the look of utter pathetic frustration on my face that obvious?" she asked, chuckling a little. "Give me anything that's going to make me forget that our vacation gets to be delayed so we can go sort out some fight between spoiled rich kids."
Nudging the door shut behind herself she was glad to set everything down and get it out of her arms. She was good at juggling but that didn't make it comfortable. "I catch you by surprise earlier? You usually get the phone within two rings."
"It is just a little Stark." He went and poured them both some whiskey. "This might help." He smiled then softly and chuckled. "If you call me just getting out of the shower and moving naked to answer the phone by surprise, then yes you did."
She couldn't help it, she cracked up laughing at that. "Sorry about that," she replied, gratefully taking the glass from him and wasting no time in knocking back her first drink. "Just had a moment of inspiration. Figured if I had this stuff stashed in the house we might as well use it to figure out where the hell we're going. Considering now we can't leave until Saturday morning at the earliest." She rolled her eyes at that.
