[Slightly mortified? Yes, yes, Bennett is just that. He's got both hands clamped over his eyes and is trying to think of anything but Carnival-- it's not working, and he startles when Herz kneels next to him.

He knew he was coming here, why is he surprised?

[He's trying very hard not to bristle seeing Herz and Ben's short little exchange. Very hard. Herz going to help Ben out isn't something he wants, but he decided that dammit. He needs to chill out. Ben's not a threat. Right?

I ran right back out the door, and was in a different hallway. I mean, from inside Carnival, it was the same door to get out.
