[Frederic heard the sounds from his room and came rushing out. When he comes in, he only sees the damaged remains and the tea pot. With a deep sigh, he turns off the tea pot and begins cleaning up the mess as he knows Helios will soon return even though he's been kidnapped by the Malnosso.]

[Giles had gotten good at tuning out the sounds of kidnaps. It had never been anyone he knew, up until now.

But then he hears the sound of Helios' voice, and the familiar abrupt end that usually accompanied such transitions.]

Helios?

[His first impulse is to go and see what's happened, and then he realizes with an unpleasant lurch that no, he doesn't know where the man lives.

He sinks back down into his chair with a sigh and puts his face in his hands]
