I read the bit about Blair and Jo having something between them on the bed and I felt like I was back at school, waving my hand in the air thinking 'I know, I know.' I was most disappointed to see that you've already got the answer :(

(However, it should be pointed out that Kelly and Sabrina also play Backgammon in Charlie's Angels, and those two were definitely doing it!!!)

I will have to go back and check out that bit at the end. And I would love to read that fic. Huge comic potential. I can just imagine Blair having to make sure that she is better at being gay that everybody else.

Or... you could write that fic? I hope somebody does. I'd love to if I wasn't already overcommitted in that department.

I think I may have to. I've been turning it over in my head.

Awesome selection and report, as always.

Nothing new to add, really...This episode has those two moments you mentioned - the backgammon on the bed and the dance background discussion - that totally grabbed my attention. I remember being freaked out (in a good way, obviously) at their friendly proximity on the bed. And even their sniping is more playful than snarky, like you said - I think Jo even starts to smile after the 'Dear Abby' comment, before they cut away. Later, when Jo remarks that Blair should tie the head scarf around her face, Blair almost looks amused.

The background dance scene IS intense! I almost feel like it's a Nancy/Lisa thing...even though that's veering into RPFS territory. It just seems like they're having a real moment, as the focus is on Tootie and Fred...You can see them sort of snap out of it when Tootie says her line and they become the foreground focus again.

Ah, yes, another swoon-worthy episode and report. Thanks!
