Drabble: Trade-off

This was inspired by caveatreader's Slice of Jo/Blair Life #1. Sort of the other side of the coin. 100 words.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

Cursing a blue streak, Jo zipped her pants and straightened her tie. Blair watched from the desk chair.

"What’s the problem? You have plenty of time to get back."

"Yeah, but not to go home and change my underwear."

"So?"

"So?!? Why don’t I just carry a sign that says 'Guess what I did on my lunch break?' I'll never hear the end of it!"

Blair sighed. "You've got no one to blame but yourself."

Jo glared.

"You know what that uniform does to me. Maybe you'd better not come by during the day anymore."

Maybe a little ribbing wouldn't kill her.
