It's because their relationships are the 'popular' type, just like they are. Or like Cait anyways. Bu' yeah. You shouldn't always bother with other people's relationships (friendly, love, whatever) anyways. Sometimes it's just best to let them happen.

He lives like a block away from me X3 sometimes he dances outside in the summer.
