Lovely trail ride with Denali and Sussi and friends yesterday! No more than the normal hill loop, but haven't done that since last fall, BEFORE we went up to Trudy's (since it was snow covered ground by the time I moved her back home from there

I was always under the impression that you do ride, like, every day all year 'round. See, this is what all non-horse owners think of people who have horses!

I can't imagine you not being in riding shape, constantly. Of course, these are no longer quite the days of taking care of and riding 4+ horses...do you miss that? :)

it's awesome to start seeing the "omg yes, trails!" posts from you guys. it must suck so hard not to be able to get out and about during winter. i find, after time off, it's almost as if i forget completely how to use my muscles. never stopping is obviously the answer!
