So when it's all said and done, after comparing the Con rates for flight/hotel and what I got online, the difference is about $300.00 give or take.

Comfort Inn Gaslamp Convention Center

It's right near a little Bar b que dive bar.
Called Kansas City BBQ.

Just a few blocks from the Con center.

Okay. I know where you are as I've been the BBQ place (I was told it was apparently featured in the film Top Gun.) I'm near you. I'm staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Nice place, but I wanted to stay at the Hilton Gaslamp where I've been at most other years. I'm about a block from the convention center.
