I get a 'cat person' feeling from Madam Christmas too! I mentioned her keeping a grumpy old cat at the bar in a recent fic.

This was very cute, and I was highly amused at how much Roy knows about kittens. There goes the image. XD

lol, glad you liked, and could you post a link to that fic please? also, didn't Travis make comments about cats? like "i love cats too" using the "i love dogs" line?

Well, cats are low-maintenance animals (unless they want attention) and they're pretty decorative, so I can imagine Roy being cool with one. A kitten would make absolute chaos of his place, though, especially if he's out a lot. There's some more fic material for you.

The fic I mentioned was "Unto Us". It's pretty short, and I believe the cat mention is only one line. I wrote Madam Christmas herself in the previous ficlet, "Everyone's a Critic", but no cats there sadly, just Roy's family embarrassing him.

I think you did a nice job with the characterizations. Ed insisting that they were keeping the runt amuses me. And Roy does seem as if he'd like cats - just don't let it near Havoc and his comments about eating domesticated pets. :D

lol thanks, glad you liked the part with the runt. i'm sure you caught that he's a kitten version of Ed :D and i'm sure Roy at least respects a cat's independence if nothing else ^_^
