[ Winry is hanging around the Devil's Nest. The Karaoke machine had been acting up, so she decided to open it up and take a look. She's tinkering with it now.

It's the middle of the day so the bar won't be open to customers, but anyone should feel free to pop in and say 'hi.' ]

I haven't figured that out yet. It might be the wiring.

*Roy has, unfortunately, been ill since his last outing in to the rain (which thankfully, stopped a while ago) with Ed to check out his apartment. It didn't yield any further clues as to what had happened or who had broken in, so getting a cold on top of that was kind of a kick in the teeth.

But he was trying to return to work today, despite the fact that he still had a terrible case of the sniffles, and his cough didn't sound well at all. The last thing he needed was to get in trouble for an extended absence. Walking in finds Winry at the machine, tinkering away*

Hey, Winry. Karaoke machine on the fritz?

Yeah. It's been in and out for the past few days.

Well, that's a damn shame. Its the only thing that ever seems to get us the few customers we have. Seems - ... *sneezes* Ow. Sorry. Seems like we should get another one if that one's gonna keep acting up...

Well, I'm going to try and fix it to see if we can avoid paying for a new one. If I can't, then I guess we're going to have to.
