I love this :DD. Nancy knows who is boss! (Nancy is.) Also I really like that Winry still has her own shop!!

This is such a great picture of Winry as an adult -- and a parent, and a boss. I love grownup Mei, too, and the hints about spy intrigue and politics. And I love the look at Winry-at-work, from the relationship with her apprentice to her dedication to making sure Xian Fa gets proper treatment for her automail.

Though possibly my favorite part is "Aunt Mustang", which Winry generously attributes to category confusion, but I like to think Ed MIGHT have contributed to. Also, love the hints about how Winry handles Ed.

Oh, poor Winry. Between small children and Xingese politics, there's never a dull moment. Nancy is hilarious, with her lack of indoor voice, picking up on her dad's language, and why she was not invited on the car ride. I think I liked Winry's refusal to let a patient go without care (even one who is a criminal and may very well be executed in Xing) the best though.

I ♥ grown-up Winry, professional, brisk and decent - and I have a huge soft spot for fics that settle her in Rush Valley post-manga. And Nancy the destructo-toddler (is there any other kind?) is hilarious, and so her parents' daughter.
