That was really powerful. I'm not much of a Rose fan, but seeing her like this makes me like her a bit better.

Oooooh. I loved the juxtaposition between Rose and Lust here, and all the plays on different kinds of faith. The unintended meaning of Rose's advice to Lust was particularly sharp. Lovely prose too.

Ahhh! This is stunning--very powerful, with no simple answers. The contrast between Rose and Lust, and their coinciding storylines, both grounded in the unrest and ugliness consuming Liore, is fascinating and engrossing. So many small, striking details elevate this: Lust covering her ouroboros "demurely," the drying blood on Rose's hand, the pointed contrast between colors and the starker black and whites. I loved, too, the inclusion of Julie and the deep friendship shown between Rose and Julie, and Rose stopping to help Lust.

Wonderful.

A much more interesting look at the Lior riots than the series gave us. Lust's calculation and contempt are drawn nicely. Some earlier description of her trust towards Father that the final paragraph suggests might support the excellent exchange there very well. Rose's part is contrastingly relaxed and meandering; everything you've done with these characters is great.

Woah, this is absolutely fantastic. I love the juxtaposition of Rose and Lust, how Rose figures out how to deal with the loss of her faith and how Lust manipulates the faith of others to achieve her ends. Very fascinating, and I think you guys handled the underlying issues very well.
