This is gorgeous. The detail is fantastic, from the grain of the wood to the light of the window, and I adore how you've populated her room with books and paper, all the accoutrements of someone who studies and learns. And I love, too, that you've May and Xiao Mei facing each other; it's such a sweet note struck in a content, serene piece.
