This was so beautifully written and so heart-breakingly sad.

I have a question: Is this before or after CoS? Because it really only makes a difference on how sad I should be.

Winry needs you kitten! Let her pet you!!

Personally, i saw it as being after CoS. However, it can go either way, depending on how much personal pain you want to cause.

Thanks for reading, btw.

Then CoS it is. That's when I thought it was. I always felt so bad for Winry after that. Loosing both Al and Ed. Though it is creepy she just carries around arms and legs everywhere she goes before CoS.

Just real quick, you forgot to tag your username and prompt number. I did it for you though as I wonder if this is your first entry or not, lol.

With that out of the way, like everyone else felt bad for Winry there. :( Great work!

Just thought I'd ask why it's not 'they' versus 'he' since it's after the movie and such. I mean, doesn't she miss Al as well? And the story was beautiful; poor Winry, all alone. Sad :(

For the most part, the only reason i used 'he' versus 'they' as just that i was focused on her and Ed's relationship when i wrote this. As well, i was sort of thinking how Ed was always her responsibility, and Al was always his. When i said "finding solutions to everyone's problems but her own", i meant to imply that she didn't know what to do because a lot of her life before everything went down was taking care of Ed, and worrying about Ed, and now it's almost like she can't do either.

However, now you've got me thinking, and i might have to expand this with more of her Al-missing feelings too.

Also, thanks for reading and commenting! it means a lot.

Ah I gotcha. Well, for me at least, it makes more sense if this is set pre-movie so that it's only Ed that's missing rather than after. Even though romantic AlxWinry was never implied, both episode 51 and COS show that they really 'connect' over Ed's disappearance. Like, without Al, Winry would've been inconsolable, but because Al continued to believe Edward was alive, his hope kept her going, y'know? But if they're both gone - sheesh, life sucks for Winry! haha
But anyway, I really liked this, so my point's mute anyway. So yeah, great job!
