I'm not entirely sure Roy WAS proposing but if Riza was going to take it that way he was more than happy. When he retells the proposal it will be MUCH better (much like my father and mother who can't agree on how that happened. Mom assures me it was lame).

I love lyric challenges, too, and I agree, it's hard to narrow down the songs! But you did a great job here, that song suits them to a T.

I liked the little details like Al coaching Roy on instant transmutation - and, I suspect, healing alchemy. I also liked how you (and Roy) skirted the big detail - how exactly is Roy going to keep Riza at home? Wedding ring or not, Riza isn't going to be barefoot in the kitchen no matter how much Roy thinks she'll be safer there.

I'm glad you enjoyed this. I suspect Roy assumes she'll be his personal body guard when he's Fuhrer which isn't out of the line of fire but at least isn't the front line of some battlefield...sort of.
