Poor Ed, he could almost do a travelog of "Hospitals I have been in". And you are right, he doesn't seem to have much better luck with trains, especially not if he's going to see Mustang!

That travelog needs to be written - !

(he's always climbing up them and getting tossed off them...)

If you watched ONLY brotherhood then you wouldn't get it. When I say "It resembled the first time he’d gone to Central to meet the bastard" it refers to the train episode in the manga and the first anime - a part brotherhood left out.

If you knew what happened then, then you would understand the rest. It's only if you didn't read the manga or watch the first anime that you wouldn't understand it. In essence Ed fights a bad guy and nearly falls off the train - it happens here too. That could be inferred from the "It resembled the first time he’d gone to Central to meet the bastard" , which would therefore lead to the conclusion that Ed had yet again, gotten into a fight.

Oh. I've read the manga, but I didn't make the connection.

It must be some kind of testament to Ed's wits that Roy would consider him clever enough to deal with the situation, even without alchemy. (Of course, Alphonse is no slouch, but still...) Ed DOES attract trouble, and it wouldn't be a bad idea for him always to carry bubble wrap. It must be very good for protecting automail, too.

Well done!

Heh, the bad guys always make Roy look like a jerk. One wouldn't think that leather pants would provide much cushioning. Were they tight enough to make him bounce? *lol*

Ouch over Ed. Yeah, bringing bubblewrap next time would be a good idea. :P Kinda wish there was a bit more detail over what happened--yes I'm aware it's similar to what happened at the beginning at the manga and first anime, but am curious what Roy found out (another high ranking general going to be attack, for instance? )before sending that letter. That's probably just me though, haha. Overall great work!
