Title: The Desert Ague (2/?)
Author: crazybeagle
Rating: T for innuendo/language
Prompt: I would like some hurt/comfort with Ed in Creta or some other country in the east. Het please, but nothing explicit.....I'm looking for hurt/comfort with some sexy twists. *dances* Yay, there's more of this on a Friday night! (is a happy girl)

Ed's horse is making me laugh. I'm a little short person and always seemed to wind up with the really tall horses when I used to ride.

And awwww, to Winry.

I'm so, so, SO glad you're liking this one- I think I distinctly remember doing a little happy-dance around my kitchen after getting the chapter one review, because you're my favorite EdWin author and quite possibly my favorite FMA author period.
As to horses- Hah, I never had that problem back when I rode because I'm a million feet tall, but my tiny sister did, and her horse was huge and mean. My sister had the spunk for it, though.
And I'm glad you're awww-ing. :3 Poor Winry has her work cut out for her here- looking after Ed's a full-time job...

*points at icon re: your praise* Thank you, that means a lot.

I remember the first time I rode a thoroughbred, after riding Arabians and various ponies, and thinking, "Man, that's a long way down." She was the horse who taught me how to post properly, though (don't know if I could still do it; that was many many years ago, and I've only ridden Western since, when I do get to ride).

Ed is certainly a full-time job. No wonder Al's ready to head East on his own. He needs the rest!

I am thoroughly enjoying this! Well written and fun with the kind of justifiable (as opposed to gratuitous) angst that I love. Bravo! And thank you!

I'm so happy you like it, and that you think I'm walking the right line between justifiable and gratuitous with the angst. As an angst author that's really nice to hear, because I can't stand melodrama in fanfic and certainly don't want it in my own. This one's been a blast to write so far, and it shouldn't take too much longer to finish up! ^_^

Oh, agreed! I love angst, both writing it and reading it, but when it's simply gratuitous, it doesn't work for me. So far this one is spot on! Thanks!
