Okay, so I'm prettyyy sure this was mine. I don't actually remember for sure, but it totally sounds like me, so.

And I love this! You've really captured what I love about Ed and Roy's dynamic here, and how they're so alike, but just different enough to make a relationship between them work. Al realizing that he'd misjudged them and being angry at himself for it because of the armor and how he was misjudged was really effective, and a pretty awesome parallel that I'd never really thought of before.

And despite the slight angst, Ed and Al's conversation had me loling all over the place. The scotch/wine thing was hilarious and the 'that didn't go over as smoothly as I'd hoped' was just such an Ed thing to say.

I am so doing the happy dance all over the place right now!! I am always nervous when it comes to filling requests.

So glad you enjoyed it read well and I had fun writing that scene between the brothers in the kitchen. I think their relationship has such depth and they've been through so much together I can't help but give them a broad spectrum of emotion when I write them.

I wanted to try my hand at writing Al where he wasn't so "ok" with anything Ed decided to do just because Ed's his brother. Al is a sweet character in general but we have seen him grow serious teeth at times and despite the Elric brothers being similar they are, at their core, two very different people.

I'm so glad my angsty struggling to deal with it Al didn't ruin it for you ^_^ Much thanks for the Kudos on the armor parallel it just struck me as I was writing this and I went with it!
