Summary: Greed thinks something went wrong; Lust just seems pissed off.

A/N: It's strange, I don't feel sorry for Envy, I feel sorry for what he ended up personifying in my head halfway through writing this.
“What the fuck is that?”
Lust turned around. Her smile was coated in venom. “Why, you can’t tell? It’s our new baby brother.”
Greed looked at the little green tail sticking out from inside the white cloth. Brother? “What the fuck went wrong with the transmutation?”
“Language,” Lust said. When she talked, she purred. She only did that when angry. Lust shrugs and her delicate shoulders catch Greed’s attention for a split second. He looks up, she’s scowling. “It refuses to come out of the hand towel. Maybe it knows how inferior it is to us.” Lust looks at the swaddle as she says this. The small tail retracts inwards, obscuring itself from view. Poison. Her tone was pure poison.
Greed hears a small squeak. He could feel sorry for it, but he feels angry that he now falls under the same classification as the creature. “What’s Pops calling it?” he asks. A name might help with its placement.
“Envy.”
Its head pops out just then. Watery violet eyes. It pants through its mouth; it has no nostrils. It drools. Lust’s insults probably hurt it, (it might be crying; Greed’s not too sure) but damn it’s ugly. Lust is right, you can’t tell what it is. It’s not a homunculus, which makes it so much harder to spare it any pity.
“Father gonna keep it?”
Lust’s glares at Envy. It disappears once again. “He’s going to see what it can do.”
Envy was lucky to be a shape-shifter.
